Is the ski pass included in the course?
No, the ski pass is not included in the price. Ski passes are available at the ski pass office or in some of the hotel receptions.
Do beginners need a ski pass?
Children attending their ski course at our beginner practice area do not need a ski pass during the first days of the course. Your ski instructor will let you know when a ski pass becomes necessary. Participants taking their ski course on Alpe di Siusi require a ski pass from the very first day.
Can our children be in the same group?
If the children have a similar skiing level, they can generally be placed in the same group. Please inform the responsible ski instructor at the meeting point before the course begins. However, we cannot guarantee this, as the groups are primarily formed according to the participants' skiing ability.
What should the children bring to the ski course?
Weather-appropriate ski clothing, the ski school ticket, and, depending on the course and if needed, the ski pass. Lunch is included in the price of the course on days when the children attend the course all day. During the course, there will be refreshment breaks with drinks and snacks.
Is wearing a helmet mandatory?
Yes. Wearing a helmet is mandatory for all skiers and snowboarders, both during lessons and while skiing or snowboarding independently.
When do the courses start?
Courses start on Sundays or Mondays with different starting times for different age groups/levels.
Is equipment included in the price?
No, the equipment is not included, however, every course participant receives a 10% discount at our ski hire shops (Seceda valley station, Mar Dolomit and the ski rental/school office in Piazza Rezia). The equipment can comfortably be added to the online booking of the ski/snowboard course.
Should I book the ski course in advance?
We recommend that you book your ski course in advance on our website. Book your place from the comfort of your own home and pick up your ticket at the ski school office.
Is it possible to book a trial day?
Children aged 3-5 and beginners can book a taster day and pay the difference to the multi-day course if they wish to extend.
Do children need poles?
Beginners don’t need ski poles. For advanced children, if they have used poles on a previous course, they can bring them on the first day. Children who have never used poles before do not need to bring them on the first day. The instructor will provide the necessary information during the course.
Will the ski course be postponed or refunded in case of bad weather?
No, courses and private lessons take place whatever the weather.
Is lunch included in the course price?
Lunch is included only on the days when the children's courses Basic League and Kids League run as full-day courses. On half-day course days and for the half-day courses (Cuccioli and Kids Starter), lunch can be booked separately. Lunch is not included for adult courses.
